त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणम् त्वमेव ।
त्वमेव सर्वम् मम देव देव ॥

सर्व शक्तिमान परमात्मा जो मेरे सही माता, पिता , बंधू और मित्र है , ये ही मेरी असली संपत्ति और विद्या भी है, वो ही मेरा वास्तविक रूप से पूरा संसार है, उन्हें नमन  करता हूँ |

Yoga

अपने अनिवार्य कार्य करो, क्योंकि वास्तव में कार्य करना निष्क्रियता से बेहतर है.

Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction.

मन  अशांत है और उसे नियंत्रित करना कठिन है, लेकिन अभ्यास से इसे वश में किया जा सकता है.

The mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by practice.

यं ब्रह्मा वरुणेन्द्ररुद्रमरुत: स्तुन्वन्ति दिव्यै: स्तवै-
र्वेदै: साङ्गपदक्रमोपनिषदैर्गायन्ति यं सामगा:।
ध्यानावस्थिततद्गतेन मनसा पश्यन्ति यं योगिनो-
यस्तानं न विदु: सुरासुरगणा देवाय तस्मै नम:।। 

 
भावार्थ : ब्रह्मा, वरुण, इन्द्र, रुद्र और मरुद्‍गण दिव्य स्तोत्रों द्वारा जिनकी स्तुति करते हैं, सामवेद के गाने वाले अंग, पद, क्रम और उपनिषदों के सहित वेदों द्वारा जिनका गान करते हैं, योगीजन ध्यान में स्थित तद्‍गत हुए मन से जिनका दर्शन करते हैं, देवता और असुर गण (कोई भी) जिनके अन्त को नहीं जानते, उन (परमपुरुष नारायण) देव के लिए मेरा नमस्कार है।

उससे मत डरो जो वास्तविक नहीं है, ना कभी था ना कभी होगा.जो वास्तविक है, वो हमेशा था और उसे कभी नष्ट नहीं किया जा सकता.

Fear not what is not real, never was and never will be. What is real, always was and cannot be destroyed.

मैं उन्हें ज्ञान देता हूँ जो सदा मुझसे जुड़े रहते हैं और जो मुझसे प्रेम करते हैं.
 I give the knowledge, to those who are ever united with Me and lovingly adore Me.

कस्तूरीतिलकं ललाटपटले वक्षःस्थले कौस्तुभं
नासाग्रे नवमौक्तिकं करतले वेणुं करे कङ्कणम् ।
सर्वाङ्गे हरिचन्दनं सुललितं कण्ठे च मुक्तावलिं
गोपस्त्री परिवेष्टितो विजयते गोपाल चूडामणिः ॥

Kastuurii-Tilakam Lalaatta-Pattale Vakssah-Sthale Kaustubham
Naasa-Agre Nava-Mauktikam Karatale Vennum Kare Kangkannam |
Sarva-Angge Haricandanam Sulalitam Kanntthe Ca Muktaavalim

हे श्रीकृष्ण! आपके मस्तक पर कस्तूरी तिलक सुशोभित है। आपके वक्ष पर देदीप्यमान कौस्तुभ मणि विराजित है। आपने नाक में सुंदर मोती पहना हुआ है। आपके हाथ में बांसुरी है और कलाई में आपने कंगन धारण किया हुआ है। हे हरि! आपकी सम्पूर्ण देह पर सुगन्धित चंदन लगा हुआ है और सुंदर कंठ मुक्ताहार से विभूषित है। आप सेवारत गोपियों के मुक्ति प्रदाता हैं। हे ईश्वर! आपकी जय हो। आप सर्वसौंदर्यपूर्ण हैं।'

 वह जो वास्तविकता में मेरे उत्कृष्ट जन्म और गतिविधियों को समझता है, वह शरीर त्यागने के बाद पुनः जन्म नहीं लेता और मेरे धाम को प्राप्त होता है.

The one who truly understands My transcendental birth and activities, is not born again after leaving this body and attains My abode.

अपने परम भक्तों, जो हमेशा मेरा स्मरण या एक-चित्त मन से मेरा पूजन करते हैं , मैं व्यक्तिगत रूप से  उनके कल्याण का उत्तरदायित्व  लेता हूँ.

 To those ever steadfast devotees, who always remember or worship Me with single-minded contemplation, I personally take responsibility for their welfare.

मैं सभी प्राणियों को सामान रूप से देखता हूँ; ना कोई मुझे कम प्रिय है ना अधिक. लेकिन जो मेरी प्रेमपूर्वक आराधना करते हैं वो मेरे भीतर रहते हैं और मैं उनके जीवन में आता हूँ.

I look upon all creatures equally; none are less dear to me and none more dear. But those who worship me with love live in me, and I come to life in them.

प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति सिवाय ईश्वर के किसी और पर निर्भर नहीं करता.

A Self-realized person does not depend on anybody except God for anything.

नर्क के तीन द्वार हैं: वासना, क्रोध और लालच.
Hell has three gates: lust, anger, and greed.

व्यक्ति जो चाहे बन सकता है यदी वह विश्वास के साथ इच्छित वस्तु  पर लगातार चिंतन करे.
One can become whatever one wants to be if one constantly contemplates on the object of desire with faith.

जन्म लेने वाले के लिए मृत्यु उतनी ही निश्चित है जितना कि मृत होने वाले के लिए जन्म लेना. इसलिए जो अपरिहार्य है उस पर शोक मत करो.

Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable.

 मन की गतिविधियों, होश, श्वास, और भावनाओं के माध्यम से भगवान की शक्ति सदा तुम्हारे साथ है; और लगातार तुम्हे बस एक साधन की तरह प्रयोग कर के सभी कार्य कर रही है.

The power of God is with you at all times; through the activities of mind, senses, breathing, and emotions; and is constantly doing all the work using you as a mere instrument.

शान्ताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्यनाभं सुरेशं
विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम्।
लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यं
वन्दे विष्णु भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम्।।

भावार्थ : जिनकी आकृति अतिशय शांत है, जो शेषनाग की शैया पर शयन किए हुए हैं, जिनकी नाभि में कमल है, जो ‍देवताओं के भी ईश्वर और संपूर्ण जगत के आधार हैं, जो आकाश के सदृश सर्वत्र व्याप्त हैं, नीलमेघ के समान जिनका वर्ण है, अतिशय सुंदर जिनके संपूर्ण अंग हैं, जो योगियों द्वारा ध्यान करके प्राप्त किए जाते हैं, जो संपूर्ण लोकों के स्वामी हैं, जो जन्म-मरण रूप भय का नाश करने वाले हैं, ऐसे लक्ष्मीपति, कमलनेत्र भगवान श्रीविष्णु को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।

"Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Reasoning is destroyed when the mind is bewildered. One falls down when reasoning is destroyed."

Accordingly, the Geeta’s message cannot be properly understood by mental supposition .
